A “Sneakerhead” is a person who collects, trades, and/or admires sneakers as a hobby.
August 1986, I remember standing in my driveway, looking towards the ground when I saw what would be one of the greatest tennis shoes ever made. I saw these majestic wonders of art glide across the sidewalk as if to float. I said, “Are Those …”! He said, “They Are …”! My family was not in financial position to afford me this beautiful $65 shoe so I became an admirer of the hobby!
